DeBruycker Charolais

Location: Dutton, MT

Breeds: Charolais

DeBruycker Charolais has been producing registered Charolais genetics from Dutton, Montana since 1963, building one of the longest-running and most recognized purebred Charolais programs in North America. Their foundational sire LHD Cigar E46 carries more than 4,000 progeny in the AICA system, and their current sire battery is selected for calving ease, structural soundness, and feedlot performance — traits backed by decades of gain test and carcass competition results across the United States. Now run by the second and third generations of the DeBruycker family, the operation offers approximately 600 yearling bulls each spring through their annual production sale at Western Livestock Auction in Great Falls, with private treaty and bull leasing available year-round. Volume buyers from across the Northern Plains and beyond regularly pull 15 to 90 head in a single order. Ranchers using DeBruycker genetics consistently report 50 to 90 additional pounds at weaning — hybrid vigor that shows up where it counts.
